With an impressive 28-year career in the boating industry, Todd Kercher is a leading yacht and boat broker in the Southeast. Growing up on the Mobile, Alabama Gulf Coast, Todd developed a deep-seated passion for fishing and boating early on. His professional journey began in Destin, Florida, where he spent his college summers working as a deckhand on a charter boat, further cementing his love for maritime.
After college, Todd’s career advanced as he became a captain for Chris Myers while also selling new Contender boats at Chris Myers Marine. His dedication and expertise paid off when he acquired the franchise from Chris Myers in 2000, leading to the establishment of Middle Bay Marine.
In 2004, Todd made a strategic decision to sell the Contender franchise to Grady Marine and establish Performance Yacht Sales. This move allowed him to specialize in brokering and selling high-end center console boats, working with top brands such as Invincible, Yellowfin, Freeman, Sea Hunt, Everglades, Regulator, Sportsman, and Blackjack.
